The owners took a fresh look at the field of home inspection and "re-drew" the formula for a delighted client. They did research on what people liked and didn't like about their home inspection experiences. Lisa Turner, pictured at right, interviewed dozens of people face to face, and she asked inspectors themselves at home inspector conferences what they thought were best practices in delivering the highest level of satisfaction to buyers, sellers, and to homeowners who hired the inspector to determine maintenance issues.

Owner and Inspector Lisa Turner, is a general contractor in the state of North Carolina and a Licensed Inspector in North Carolina (where licensing is required). Lisa has passed the national exam for home inspectors - the NHIE - National Home Inspector Exam, as well as the InterNACHI exam for membership in that organization. Lisa attended the Kaplan (Inspector Training Associates) School for home inspectors in Minneapolis.
In addition to experience in inspection (aircraft and homes) and construction, Lisa has over 20 years of corporate business experience in human resources, quality (manufacturing), and training and development. Previous business startups include a bicycle shop, a business coaching firm, and an aircraft related holding corporation.
Lisa is also a licensed FAA A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) mechanic, and DAR (Designated Airworthiness Representation), qualified to award airworthiness certificates to aircraft. Lisa has built 2 experimental aircraft in her garage - a 2 place 170 MPH Pulsar XP (test flew in 1995), and a high wing tube and fabric 2-place 100 MPH Kolb Mark III (test flew in 2006). Lisa started building a Rotorway Helicopter but sold the project to move to North Carolina!

Gerald ("Jerry") Stadtmiller
Jerry, as a licensed GC, has over 20 years of construction experience, including commercial high rise developments and custom homes. He has built over 30 custom homes, including 5 unique high end designs that sold for 5 times more than they cost to build. His designs are admired by architects, and his structural knowledge surprises engineers. Jerry is resident consultant on design, structural integrity, foundations, grading, and energy efficiency for Your Inspection Expert.
Jerry's other passion is building (restoring) antique biplanes.
